Sharing with Elders

Special trips to Mahele Farm by our community's beloved kupuna (elders), like those from the Kaunoa Senior Center, are a treat—and they spark the desire in our kupuna to make farm visits a consistent habit. Whether regulars or special visitors, our kupuna can come harvest their own produce at the farm, while sharing their cultural knowledge with our staff, students, and community volunteers.
