Infant and Toddler Center at Hana School

On campus, our youth renovated a former classroom to serve as an Infant and Toddler Center at Hāna School—now teachers who are parents of young kids will have day care in our remote region. The Building Program students came up with the idea to create a tiled mosaic wall at the room's entrance, designing and creating the mosaic themselves, depicting our local marine life. Youth then built a shed for the storage of the Infant and Toddler Center's outside toys ...

... the project was then featured in The Maui News! Click here: Maui News-Infant & Toddler Center
