When a professional crew came to build a skateboard park for Hana, our guys wanted to help. We sent a few students over and the pro guys shrugged their shoulders and said, “Sure, we’ll find something for them to do.”

At the end of the first day, we got a call: “You got more like that?”

We sent over 2 more guys. The next day, another call. “They rock! Got more?”

For the next 6 weeks, our whole crew went there daily — learning to build forms, tie rebar, pour and finish cement — all powered onsite by our solar workshop on wheels!
