Building program students and Kahanu Garden staff have been clearing the first 2 acres of Mahele Farm, right next to Kahanu Garden (National Tropical Botanical Garden). Our long-term dream is to enhance the ʻaina (land) of the Honomaʻele ahupuaʻa (land division), and move our community toward self-sufficiency once again.
