Wood Mosaic of Kalo

This student-made wood mosaic is a tribute to kalo (taro)—its root is made from milo and the leaves mango wood. The papa kuʻi ʻai (poi-pounding board) is made from ʻulu, and the pohaku kuʻi ʻai (poi pounder) carved from blue rock.
