Hawaiʻi Governor Linda Lingle recently announced that Ma Ka Hana Ka ʻIke has been honored by a “Governor’s Innovation Award” from the State for the month of January. The award recognizes that innovation is not just about technology, but occurs across all sectors—government, business, nonprofit.
We feel very fortunate to have been chosen for such a commendation, which emphasized that our “students have the opportunity to imagine change and, with the help of Ma Ka Hana Ka ʻIke, can make it happen for themselves.” Mahalo to Governor Lingle for this great honor.
