Over 200 people showed up for the Hana Arts building blessing. We hope it’ll serve as a home for arts and culture on the Hana School campus for a long time.

For the new Hana Arts building, we used local materials like ʻohiʻa posts scavenged from the Big Island, radiata pine recovered from the Polipoli forest fire on Maui, and lava rock gathered here in Hana.
